If your tutor doesn't show up for a paid session, you get a full refund — automatically.
Not happy after your first online class? Cancel within 24 hours for a 100% refund.
All approved refunds reach your bKash, Nagad, or bank account within 5–7 business days.
The following refund rules apply to online classes (1-to-1 sessions and mini batch classes) booked through BengalTutors.
Cancel any time before your first scheduled session and receive 100% of your payment back.
If your tutor fails to attend without prior notice (15+ minutes late), report it and we'll refund automatically.
If our classroom or platform fails and the session can't happen, we refund or re-schedule.
If your first lesson didn't meet expectations, request a refund within 24 hours of the session — no questions asked.
Unused sessions are refunded on a pro-rata basis. Completed sessions are non-refundable.
You may cancel a scheduled session up to 24 hours in advance and shift the credit to another session.
If you miss a session without notice, that session is forfeited. Re-scheduling requires fresh payment.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before the session are not refunded but the tutor may agree to re-schedule.
If you've attended 50% or more of the sessions in a paid package, the package is non-refundable.
If your account is terminated for violating our Terms & Conditions, paid balances are forfeited.
Home tutoring fees are paid by the student directly to the tutor, not through BengalTutors. We handle commission payments from tutors to BengalTutors only.
Tutors pay BengalTutors a 20% commission on the first month's earnings from each new student. This commission is non-refundable once paid, except in the following cases:

If your refund hasn't arrived after the above window, contact us with the refund reference number we provided.
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate by emailing contact@bengaltutors.com. A senior team member will re-review your case within 5 business days. You may also raise a complaint with your bank or SSLCommerz if you believe a transaction was unauthorised.
Please contact us first before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery action under Bangladeshi law.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Changes will not apply retroactively to refund requests already submitted.
